GENTRY
4 years old
Gentry has Panhypopituitarism, Adrenal Insufficiency, and periodic Paralysis.Â
"Gentry has a life-threatening illness. He has a very rare disease called congenital panhypopituitarisum. His pituitary gland in his brain did not develop correctly and does not work the way it should. Gentry's body does not make the hormones that we need to live. He is fed by a feeding tube and needs lots of different medications and shots. Although all of his hormones are nessesary to keep him healthy and alive, his adrenal insufficiency is the most serious. During times of stress our body needs Cortisol. Without enough cortisol, a life threatening event called an adrenal crisis occurs. An adrenal crisis can quickly spiral into shock, heart failure, coma, brain damage and death. Thank you for following his story and thank you for your prayers!"
